Oft werden Nachbaupartikelfilter als Ersatz für den Original DPF zu einem Bruchteil des eigentlichen Neupreises im Internet angeboten. Hier am Beispiel eines Mazda 5 Filters haben wir diese im direkten Vergleich dargestellt und gingen der Frage nach:

Die Verarbeitung

Schon im direkten Vergleich nebeneinander werden die ersten Qualitätsunterschiede sichtbar. Das Gehäuse des Nachbaufilters wirkt billig verarbeitet. Hitzeschutzbleche wie erforderlich befinden sich nicht am DPF. Die Ausgangsseite des Nachbaufilters verläuft nicht konisch wie beim Original, was schon zu einem erhöhten Staudruck und einer Fehlerquelle führen kann.

Schweißnähte der Nachbaufilters minderwertig

Die Schweißnähte sind qualitativ minderwertig und fangen bereits nach kurzer Zeit an zu korrodieren

Der Gewichtsunterschied

Deutlich sichtbar werden die Qualitätsunterschiede bei der Ermittlung des Gewichtes. Der Nachbaufilter ist im Vergleich zum Original um fast 2 Kg leichter. Woher kommt dieser Unterschied? Der Nachbaufilter ist nur zur Hälfte mit Keramik bestückt. Der Keramikkern im Original DPF ist doppelt so groß, in einzelne Segmente aufgeteilt und hat dementsprechend auch die viel höhere Aufnahmemöglichkeit für die einströmenden Rußpartikel.

Die Differenzdruckmessung

Der Nachbaufilter wies nach dem Kauf trotz weniger Keramik einen doppelt so hohen Differenzdruck wie der Original DPF auf. Wir vermuten, dass diese daher nur sehr schwer durchlässig ist. Die Folge könnte eine enorme Leistungseinbuße und ein erhöhter Kraftstoffverbrauch sein.

Unser Fazit

Verarbeitung und Qualität sind minderwertig. Die Funktionsfähigkeit ist eingeschränkt. Die vermeintlichen Einsparungen erweisen sich unserer Meinung nach als Trugschluss. Deshalb raten wir vom Kauf dieser DPF ab.

I had my DPF at Irosoft to clean it. Online order initiated on Wednesday evening, the DPF was picked up on Thursday morning, the test result received in the afternoon, the invoice paid online and the cleaned DPF received back on Friday morning. In my opinion, it can't go any faster. (Depending on the place of residence) 24 hour service at its finest. Previously, the average consumption was 9.5 to 10.5 liters of diesel and after cleaning it was back to the usual level of 7.3 to 8.0 liters / 100 km. I'm thrilled and didn't have to spend a few hundred euros on a new DPF.
