Reinigung oder Instandsetzung? Was ist die richtige Lösung für Ihren Katalysator?

Oxidationskatalysatoren bei Nutzfahrzeugen, wie diese bspw. bei MAN, DAF XF oder Volvo verbaut werden unterliegen einem enorm hohen Verschleiß. Mit Einführung der Euro 6 Norm wurden diese gegen vollwertige Partikelfilter ( DPF ) ersetzt.

Durch AdBlue Eintrag kristallisierte Rückstände an den Oberflächen sind keine Seltenheit. Reinigungsversuche gleich welche scheitern bei Katalysatoren zumeist.  Die notwendige Energie, welche aufgewendet werden müsste, um einen entsprechenden Reinigungserfolg herbeizuführen, kann die poröse und dünnwandige Keramik zerstören oder dauerhaft beschädigen.

Auch sind die Reinigungserfolge meist nur von kurzer Haltbarkeit. Einen Liegengebliebenen LKW aufgrund unzureichender Reinigungsergebnisse, kann sich kein Spediteur leisten.

Ist der Katalysator ab normal mit Ruß verstopft oder ist die Störung in der Motorelektronik auf einen anderen Verschleißzustand zurückzuführen?

Dies zu erkennen ist die Kunst. Mit Einführung neuester Diagnostik Technik, sind unsere Spezialisten schon während der Eingangsprüfung in der Lage, diesen Zustand nach Festlegung bestimmter standardisierter Parameter zu erkennen.

Ist eine Reinigung noch effektiv oder eben aus den genannten Gründen nicht mehr?

Ein Beispiel zum Ablauf einer Instandsetzung an einem Nutzfahrzeug LKW DAF XF 95/105:

Eingangsprüfung-Katalysator

Bild 1:
Eingangsprüfung des angelieferten Katalysators inklusive Verschleißzustandsbeurteilung.

Bild 2:
Durch Adblue Rückstände verschlissener Keramikkern. Die kristallisierten Ablagerungen lassen die feinen Kanäle verengen. Ein ungehindertes Durchströmen der Abgase ist nicht mehr gegeben. Eine Reinigung ist hier dauerhaft nicht mehr effektiv.

Entferntes-Keramikmodul

Bild 3:
Zunächst wird das defekte Keramikmodul aus dem Katalysatorgehäuse entfernt und fachgerecht entsorgt. Vorbereitende Maßnahmen und Arbeitsschritte für den Einsatz des Neuteiles werden getroffen.

Bild 4:
Das ausgetauschte Keramikmodul wird in das Filtergehäuse eingesetzt und fachgerecht verschweißt. Einige Katalysatoren verfügen über bis zu 6 Module.

Bild 5: Als letzten Arbeitsschritt wird der Katalysator einer Ausgangskontrolle mit Druckprüfung unterzogen. Alle notwendigen Daten und Ergebnisse werden protokolliert.

Great service, quick work, fair price.
I had my DPF at Irosoft to clean it. Online order initiated on Wednesday evening, the DPF was picked up on Thursday morning, the test result received in the afternoon, the invoice paid online and the cleaned DPF received back on Friday morning. In my opinion, it can't go any faster. (Depending on the place of residence) 24 hour service at its finest. Previously, the average consumption was 9.5 to 10.5 liters of diesel and after cleaning it was back to the usual level of 7.3 to 8.0 liters / 100 km. I'm thrilled and didn't have to spend a few hundred euros on a new DPF.
